Vietnam - Nha Trang

Party!!

So we arrived in Nha Trang on the 15th October after a very uncomfortable 12 hour overnight bus journey (No sleeper bus this time, Gutted!!) The bus company always drop you off at a guesthouse, which is usually their mate, but these guesthouses aren't always the best value for money. However, due to the fact we were so tired we stayed in the first guesthouse they took us to and went to bed!! Nha Trang's main focus point is the beautiful beach which is 6km long, with the beach comes a great party atmosphere. our main plan for our time in Nha Trang was to relax on the beach as the weather was great, and enjoy the nightlife.

After 2 days on the beach, frazzling! The weather decided to change and it started to rain. we figured this was the perfect opportuniy to go pamper ourselves a bit more and go to the Thap Ba Hot Spring Center, which is just as ace as it sounds. First you shower in a mineral rich water, then its time to get in the pools of hot mineral-rich mud (we have pictures but they're not going on the blog!) After that you go in hot baths of mineral water, it was really nice, and as the weather wasn't the best, we were able to enjoy being in the hot water, whereas we would never have been able to had we have gone the day before!

That night, feeling refreshed and pampered (Its so hard this travelling lark!), we decided to go to the Sailing club, which is a really nice bar on the beach. Every hour is happy hour in Nha Trang so the drinks flowed nicely and we had a wicked night. We ended up dancing and partying until 5am with people from Russia, Germany, Vietnam and Blackpool!! The next day, lying on the beach was a chore with such a bad hangover (which even a cheese burger didn't cure!) and that night we left for Saigon very unhappy having to leave our favourite place in vietnam so far! However the rain had started again and the streets had started to flood big style so that made our departure a little easier!
